About Me

Hi, I'm Hafapea. Prior to getting knocked up in 2004 I was a wild and free gypsy. I traveled all over the country and was making plans to see the world. Now I'm off on a different adventure. One that is perhaps more thrilling. Since 2005 I have been the single mother of the world's greatest boy and a full time college student. I have also become an entrepreneur. I started my own little shop on Zazzle where I sell unique gift ideas featuring my abstract fractal art, pixel art and clipart creations, Designs by Hafapea. It's a terrific shop featuring custom mugs, personlized T-shirts, silver jewelry, unique iPhone cases and iPad cases, one-of-a-kind baby clothes and much, much more. I'm going to use this blog to give you a preview of what you can find in my Zazzle shop and those of some very talented other folks whose work I love. Won't you please stop by for a visit? Art Decoratifs Museum in Paris presents Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs

An immutable fashion list must include the Ls Vuitton bag, on display demurely but proudly in Paris' Decorative Arts Museum like the historical artifact it should be. The bag pattern was first patented in 1877 but it can still be seen — almost unchanged — on the Parisian boulevards more than 130 years later. This is thanks to house founder Louis Vuitton, and since 1997, creative director Marc Jacobs. Both their stories are woven together in a colorful exhibit that spans over a century of fashion history.

The IndiExhibit just wrapped up their promotional event in the Wow! Creations gift lounge at the 2012 Oscars.  In case you don't know who I am talking about, The IndiExhibit (IE) is a group of independent artists who pool their resources so that they can promote their work by gifting it to various charity events and celebrities.  Wow! Creations is the company who has the gifting lounge that IE pays to participate in.  Both are terrific groups and, if you are an indie artist looking for a way to get your products into the hands of the rich and famous, I highly recommend that you join The IndiExhibit!

Now, about the Oscars...

This is IE's display table from the event.  On the top right you will see him - Rockabilly Owl!  Ain't he cute?  I just love this little fella.  He is the creation of Deborah Mazarakes of Deborah Mazarakes Art & Design and he has now made his official Hollywood debut!

If you like him as much as I do, he is featured on some terrific products in her shop.  I think they would make great gifts for any Rockabilly, blues or owl loving person you know.  So, if you have a friend or loved one with an upcoming birthday or special occasion, you should pop on over to Deb's shop and pick one up for them!
